Do you know that picking up litter is an act of love?
You may never have thought of it that way, but it is.
It’s an act of love to the Earth, bringing health and beauty to outdoor spaces.
It’s an act of love to everyone who will pass by that spot, as you just made it a little more beautiful.
And it’s an act of love to whomever littered in the first place.
The great thing is that anyone with a few extra seconds can pick up litter and spread love.
Here’s some variations on this idea:
- Bring a bag with you when you go on walks, and collect litter along the way.
- Pick up trash in your neighborhood and along the side of the road.
- Take a break at school or work, and pick up litter as you stretch your legs.
